Distilled Thousand Leaf Rose, also known as Loubet Rose or Grasse Rose, is a hybrid variety cultivated by the Netherlands in the 17th century. Damascus Rose is one of its parent plants, and the receptacle and small branches of Thousand Leaf Rose are almost smooth without thorns. Due to low production and high difficulty in planting and harvesting, the global cultivation of Grasse roses is significantly less than that of Damascus roses.
