Tea tree, also known as mutual leaf white mille, is native to the rainforest area in the northeast corner of New South Wales, Australia. It was first commonly found in tropical regions around the Pacific Ocean such as Australia and New Zealand. It likes to grow near water or swamps and is a small tree with very small seeds that can grow very tall. Tea tree essential oil is extracted from its branches and leaves, appearing transparent and colorless, with a fragrance similar to pine oil and eucalyptus. There are many varieties of tea tree essential oil, but only a few high-quality essential oils have aromatherapy value.
